The Cammenga Military Tritium Lensatic Compass

is built to the demanding specifications of U.S. Fighting Forces. Battle tested, this compass is shock, water and sand proof with an operating temperature range of -50ºF to +150ºF. Seven Tritium Micro Lights provide steady luminescence in low-light conditions.

GPS batteries last only so long when you’re far from home base. When used with current paper maps in a waterproof case, a fine military compass solves that problem. The tritium dial points in this compass allow for continuous navigation in low-light conditions without the need to periodically restore their brightness with a flashlight. The compass is equipped with a magnifying lens, sighting wire and dial graduations in both degrees and mils to ensure accurate readings. The copper induction damping system slows the rotation of the magnet without the use of liquids, thus expanding the operating temperature range. This compass is built to last with an aluminum frame and waterproof housing.
