An old-school waterproof tactical military map case

is an essential complement to your high-quality precision compass. Like the compass itself, it really shines through when your GPS batteries run out. All of your mapping tools are easily accessible in Rothco’s Tactical Map Case Board.

With exterior dimensions of 10.5" x 12" x 1.25", the Rothco Tactical Map Case Board fits easily into the main compartment of the Rothco Vintage M-51 Engineer's Bag with Leather Accents (sold separately). Two interior window pockets (measuring 11.5" x 8.5" and 10.5" x 7.5") hold your maps and documents, protecting them from outside elements.

The military map case has a stiff inner board, making it sturdy enough to write on while on the move and in the field. The clear plastic compartments allow you to mark your coordinates and notes as you go with an erasable marker (not included).

The center panel features an interior mesh zippered pocket that’s ideal for holding a map compass (not included) and other low-profile gear, and features 5 elastic loops, each loop 2" x 2" in size, for pens, markers, protractors, pace counters and more. Exterior pocket measures 8” x 12”. Two rows of Loop MOLLE webbing offer the ability to attach modular pouches to the map case, creating an expandable system.

There is an additional loop field on the backside of the case for morale patches or branch name. The ¾ zipper closure makes it easy to open the map case like a notebook, allowing for accessibility without your documents falling out. Great for exploratory expeditions, tactical missions, airsoft competitions and military exercises.
